Some residential communities prohibited residents from using motor vehicles, allowing only pedestrian movement; entry into certain venues required a nucleic acid test report, yet “those with test reports couldn’t leave, and those who left didn’t have test reports”; in other cases, residents were denied access to essential places such as supermarkets or wet markets simply because those locations did not fall within the boundaries of their designated subdistrict.

Many prevention zones upgraded control measures after just one day, with community access permits becoming invalid after one day.
